Discounted Legal Services for Veterans

Russell Law starts initiative to provide discounted legal services to Veterans and Active Duty Military Service Members

I am proud of my Country and what it stands for. And I am eternally grateful to all U.S. Veterans, past and present, for their sacrifice in defending our freedom. That being said, it is our civic duty as citizens to help those same Veterans and active duty military service members when they need it most.

Recognition

Thousands upon thousands of our troops will be returning home shortly. Many Veterans return battered, bruised and in need of real help and opportunity. Recognition is not always given but should be made a priority.

Therapy and Counseling

The scars of war can run deep. Physical injury, trauma and the connection to family must be healed and restored. Physical therapy, counseling and just someone to talk to are a must.

Education, Training and Jobs

The transition to civilian life can be difficult. This is where training, job skill development and education will help. Employment opportunities in a struggling economy are scarce. But we all can make a difference with Veteran job creation, mentoring and internship positions.

Preservation of Memory

The memories of a Veteran’s sacrifice should not be lost. Those who fail to learn from history are most inclined to repeat it. The preservation of memory through interviews, oral histories, documentaries, biographies and the archiving of photos and personal artifacts will be a timeless reminder for future generations.
